On April 2nd, "Seminar on Liberal Arts Experimental Teaching Reform and Laboratory Construction" was held in杏盛 The leaders attending the seminar visited the Experimental Center of Journalism and Communication, accompanied by Professor Zhou Yong, Executive Dean of SJC.
Zhou Yong,Executive Dean of SJC, introduced the development history, facilities, innovative incubation platform of convergence media and intelligent communication, technological development of the studio, laboratory construction and positioning of the experimental center.
The Experimental Center of SJC, founded in 1955 when the Journalism Department of Renmin University of China was set up, is one of the earliest liberal arts laboratories in China and the earliest experimental teaching platform among the national journalism education institutions. In the mid-1980s and early 1990s, radio and television laboratories and laser phototypesetting laboratories were successively established in the center. In 1997, SJC formally established the Experimental Center of Journalism and Communication by integrating the experimental functions of photography, radio and television, newspaper news gathering and editing, media management, network news transmission and advertising production.
In 2000, the experimental center passed the basic course laboratory assessment of Beijing Universities. In 2006, the experimental center became the Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Beijing. In 2009, the experimental center was rated as a national Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center construction unit. In 2012, the experimental center successfully passed the acceptance inspection and officially became the national experimental Teaching Demonstration Center.
At present, the experiment center of Journalism and Communication continues to demonstrate and lead the innovation and evolution of experimental teaching mode in domestic journalism and communication education institutions.
