The opening ceremony of Pakistani Journalists’ short-term exchange program was held on October 5th by J-School. Deputy director of International Office, Mr Lv Jie, Deputy Dean of J-School, Professor Zhang Huifeng, Professor Huang Weiping, Professor Jia Wenshan, Professor Zhong Xin and Pakistani journalists on exchange program attended the ceremony.

        Chinese Embassy in Pakistan and the J-School started the exchange program in 2014 in a bid to strengthen the cooperation and communication between the two countries. By far, three rounds of  9-month long-term program have been successfully held, while this is the first time a  10-day short-term exchange program being set up.

        The short-term program invites 8 journalists from 7 main-stream Pakistani media. They, together with other 3 journalists attending the long-term program, will attend various activities including 7 lectures concerns Chinese politics, economy, society, culture and the Belt and Road Initiative, visiting People's Daily, China Radio International, China Daily, Shanghai Media Group, well-known enterprises and attending press conference in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
